Here is a quick look at what we are learning this week: Math: Analyzing various types of graph (bar graphs, pictographs, tally charts) *Keep working with students on multiplication facts 0-10 Social Studies: Locating the Appalachian and Rocky Mountains on a map Levels of government: local, state, national Branches of government: legislative, judicial, and executive Reading: Reviewing text structures: main idea, cause/effect, compare/contrast, sequence of events Text features Writing: Narrative writing from a different point of view Spelling test will be on Friday!
